SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

MAGAZINE

We accept rolling submissions of essays, opinion pieces, interviews, prose & poetry relating to any topic. We encourage simultaneous submissions.

We hope to blur the boundaries between subjects and genre and so accept work that can feature in one of our sections: ANALYSIS, EXPRESSION & DIALOGUE. This includes writing that ranges from economic and political analyses of current affairs or culture (analysis); to poetry, short stories, life writing (expression); to conversations written entirely in poetry or an exchange inspired by another piece of art (dialogue). These will then be grouped by a general theme or style depending on the submissions we receive at the time.

Have a look at our current and upcoming work in the magazine for some examples of the kind of work we publish. Either submit a 100-word pitch for your writing (along with any other information you feel is necessary); or if you have pre-written work we accept academic essays (up to 5000 words) referenced in Vancouver style, up to 5 poems, and any fiction/life writing (up to 5000 words). Please send a bio (max. 60 words) and put ‘magazine submission’ in the subject of the email, if you have a multimedia piece please put ‘multimedia submission’ in the subject.
